DIY Beauty: How to Make Your Own Herbal Face Mask at Home

Here is a simple recipe for a homemade herbal face pack:

Ingredients:

  • 2 tablespoons dried herbs (such as chamomile, lavender, or rose petals)
  • 1/2 cup hot water
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 tablespoon carrier oil (such as almond oil or jojoba oil)

Instructions:

  1. Place the herbs in a small bowl and pour the hot water over them. Let the mixture steep for 20-30 minutes.
  2. Strain the herbs and discard them.
  3. In a small bowl, mix the herbal infusion, honey, and carrier oil.
  4. Apply the mixture to your face and neck, avoiding the eye area.
  5. Leave the face pack on for 15-20 minutes.
  6. Rinse your face with warm water and pat dry.

You can store the leftover face pack in the refrigerator for up to a week. Just be sure to shake it well before each use to remix the ingredients.
